LAST DAY!

Today we read the book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Shell. We water painted today! They got to choose which paper they water colored and they had to much fun! We also had a visitor on our last day; Ms. Katy! The kids were so excited to see her! I cannot believe that this year has went so fast but everyone will be missed SO much! As for me, it is my last day as well so I hope to see you around! Love, Ms. Ashley!

WATER DAY!

Today was a water day! We put all our names in our cubbies because was the last day for some kiddos :-( I cannot believe that it is the end of the year already. Anyway, we all got dressed in our swimsuits and to the water we went! We played outside for almost 2 hours! See everyone tomorrow; don't forget that we close at 2:45 for our center-wide picnic! Summer Vacation!

Today we talked about things that we would do on Summer vacation. We also read, The Sand Castle Contest. In small groups we used shapes to design a GIANT pair of sunglasses. In another group we colored water and painted with glue to make our yellow sand stick, making a beach. Then, we glued a palm tree onto our beach! We had a great day! Bugs and Ducks!

Today we read the book Curious George Goes Camping. We talked about some animals that we might see while camping so our small groups correlated with that! In one group we hammered bugs free from ice and in another group we played a duck game! We all agreed that when camping you see bugs and you might see a duck while fishing! Have a great weekend and Memorial Day. We are closed on Monday and I will be gone on Tuesday so I will see everyone on Wednesday for water day! Ms. Ashley

Camping

Today we read the book Amelia Bedelia Goes Camping. In small groups we made a campfire with popsicle sticks and tissue paper and we matched animal moms and babies together! I cannot believe this year is almost over :-( See everyone tomorrow, Ms. Ashley

Today we read the book Camping. In small groups we put a little dish soap in the paint and painted foil, it's suppose to look like stained glass so we'll see! We also played hi ho cherry-o! Graduation is tonight see you later!

Today we read the book We're Going on a Bear Hunt!. In small groups we practiced writing our names on paper marshmallows then gluing them on a stick! We also fished then named the number that was on the fish! See everyone tomorrow!
